Chewin t Cud is a quarterly magazine. Originally aimed at the community of Cudworth, a village in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, it is now read throughout the UK and the World. We have readers in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Thailand, among others. The magazine was started in December 1996 with a pilot issue of 500 magazines. It was an immediate success and now has grown to 2,100 copies every quarter – all of which disappear very quickly!!! The committee responsible for the magazine also has the responsibility of raising the funding to cover the substantial costs involved.
