JOANNE KITSON : CO-OCCASIONS

A traditional fine artist based in Birdwell, Barnsley.  Joanne works to commission and also sells framed originals and greetings cards of her work. Having focused on equine subjects for most of her artist practice, in recent years she has broadened her subject matter to include British wildlife and agricultural animals.

A keen supporter of the Barnsley Animal Rescue charity with two adopted house rabbits she has produced artwork for the charity to help raise funds. Joanne’s bunny design was inspired by the beautiful wildlife that calls Yorkshire it’s home!

Steph Cronin is the owner of Black Bee Creative where she specialises in graphic design, marketing and illustration. She also runs The Crafty Business Network – a support network for business people who enjoy being creative,and is a Trustee at local charity Creative Recovery.

Steph loves anything creative, is overly enthusiastic about colour and has an ambition to make the world a happier place. ‘

Bertie Bunny’ is inspired by Bassett’s Liquorice Allsorts which were invented in Sheffield in 1899.

Julia Brown Cudworth Bunny

JULIA BROWN : INFINITY JEWELLERS

A cat-fluff covered artist, book designer and illustrator with a penchant for cheesecake and motorbikes. Julia studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at the University of Huddersfield.

Recently moving back over the border to Cawthorne, near Barnsley, Julia lives with her partner, who’s a sculptor, and splits her time between her own painting, Inspired by the tiny details of nature, creating book covers for private clients, messing around with ceramics, and herding cats.

Lewis Ryan Cudworth Bunny

LEWIS RYAN : WISHES

Barnsley based artist Lewis Ryan (A.K.A Lewy) Illustrates packaging for craft beer labels and creates album artwork for musicians, with a wide range of clients as far afield as Norway.

His recent collaboration series with Sheffield Brewery Abbeydale was a SIBA Design award finalist for best concept design. Lewy’s illustration style is often bright and vibrant with lots of vivid colour (he likes to use a lot of pink).

Inspired by alternative culture, steampunk, gothic and fantasy with a massive dash of geekiness. Raychel can create any kind of art to suit your tastes, pet portraits, fantasy art, blackboards, murals, digital art and illustrations. On a variety of surfaces including skin, wood, mdf, paper or canvas
(or ceramic bunnies!) in watercolour, acrylic, oil or ink. Traditional paintbrush or airbrush – it’s up to you!

Hi, I’m Sally Bean and I’ve had the honour of decorating one of the Cudworth bunnies for the 2019 trail. I currently run a small business called Bean Crafty, which I run from my home in Cudworth.

I create a range of bespoke gifts and accessories for birthdays, weddings, engagements, births, Christenings, parties, groups and businesses too.

I’m passionate about supporting small, local businesses and really enjoy being part of the Cudworth Community group and this years bunny trail.

Mick Wilson Bunny

MICK WILSON : CUDWORTH CO-OP

Mick lives and works in Cudworth , a village that has produced artists , writers and musicians over the years like a little Montmartre … left bank of the Dearne !

Mick has been a Pointillist painter for over 30 years and has exhibited all across the UK and overseas and his work has been featured on TV, radio talks and many newspaper publications and he does talks and demo`s about pointillism.

Mick also co-runs Top Draw Life Drawing at UCB Barnsley, a drop-in life drawing group .

Tomy Bunny

TOMY JENKINS : BARGAIN BOOZE

Tom is an illustrator from Barnsley and the cool cat who founded the illustration company Mogtagtom. After studying art and design at the University of Huddersfield,

Tom was seduced by the narrative powers of illustration. Tom’s works are fantasy based, drawing a great deal of inspiration from old folk-lore, fairytales and quite often his vivid and torturous dreams.

Tom also mixes in flamboyant elements from the art-nouveau period.

Yorkshire Cricket Club Bunny

YCCC BUNNY : DEACONS SUPERDEC

The special YCCC bunny is painted by local artist Amy Scattergood and signed by the team including England squad members.

Special thanks to Yorkshire County Cricket Club for supporting our community and the Bunny Trail.

The special Yorkshire County Cricket Club bunny has been decorated by Amy Scattergood. Amy is a local resident who as well as the YCCC bunny has painted several of this years bunnies.

Originally from Wigan, she has lived in Cudworth for over 10 years. Amy is a secondary school art teacher currently working in Doncaster.
