CUDWORTH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Last year Cudworth’s Christmas Lights went up for the very last time in our village. In 2018 there will be no Christmas lights on the village high street unless the community can raise the funds needed to buy new ones. Cudworth Businesses & Community Together our village’s community association needs your help. Our aim is to ensure that Cudworth has Christmas lights this year and in future years. This requires a lot of fundraising and community spirit and we would love you to get involved.
Please donate if you can because every penny helps.
Here are a few other ways in which you can help:
1. Follow our Facebook Page Cudworth Village News for updates on what we are doing, events we are running and how we are progressing.
2. Share our Facebook posts to make the whole of Cudworth aware that this is a community project. Let’s get the word out.
3. Pop any spare change into the fundraising collection boxes that are in local shops: Collection boxes are currently in: Wishes, Lakis Fish Bar, the Co-op, Bargain Booze, Infinity Jewellers, Age UK and more shops will added soon. (If you are a local business that would like a collection box please email us at info@giftshophub.co.uk).
4. Get involved, support our fundraising events and efforts or perhaps even organise an event yourself. The more people who can help, the more likely we’ll reach our target.
